Admissions & Eligibility

Undergraduate students seeking a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with major in Chemistry and strong academic records and interest in improving their leadership and innovation skills are encouraged to apply for the CHP program. Students enter the HCP in one out of two ways

1. Students who have not completed any upper-level courses are eligible to enter the HCP if they meet the following criteria
   • Overall GPA 3.5 or higher
2. Students who have completed chemistry upper-level courses are eligible to enter the HCP if they meet the following criteria
   • Overall GPA 3.3 or higher
   • Faculty nomination (recommendation letter)

Students must complete the Honors in Chemistry Program Application Form and Checklist.

Students must download and submit a completed application along with all supporting documents on the checklist in a single  email at honorschemistry@fau.edu.
