Research Interests

  • My research interests are in the broadly defined fields of chemical biology and medicinal chemistry. We use rational synthetic and combinatorial chemistry approaches to synthesize and elucidate structure-activity relationship of novel cyclic peptides and peptidomimetics as versatile platforms for targeted drug delivery or lead compounds for drug discovery. These cyclic peptides and peptidomimetics offer unique advantages, such as high target specificity, structural diversity, and potential for modulation to optimize therapeutic properties, making them promising candidates for overcoming therapeutic challenges where conventional therapies fall short.
