Jeanne Cimillo has a diverse background that includes Event management, Banking, Teaching and business training. She started her career with FAU in 2003 as a Training Coordinator and in 2006 was one of 3 people who won the SEED Program Scholarship from FAU. Though this scholarship, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a Certificate in Women, Gender, Sexuality Standards in 2007 and graduated Cum Laude.
Leaving FAU in 2008, she moved out of state to travel around the country and was a co-owner of a long-haul trucking company while running a training program at a banking call center. She returned to FAU in 2019 and joined the Mathematics department where she worked on several events during the pandemic, transforming their live in-person events into fully online events. In 2022 she began working with the Chemistry department as a Budget Coordinator, and now she is delighted to step into a new role as Chemistry’s Graduate Programs Coordinator and Assistant to the Chair.
Jeanne looks forward to working with students as they progress through their degree programs and create their futures and helping the Chemistry department grow.
